Ferdinand Olivier’s 1823 cycle Seven Views of Salzburg and Berchtesgaden. Arranged according to the Seven Days of the Week, is in terms of technique one of the most important works of Early Viennese lithography. The varied views of the alpine landscape, based on impressions from his travels, are the setting for scenes from ordinary, pious life.
