Closed for Renovation since 1 July 2025
After more than 25 years, the restaurant’s indoor and outdoor areas are undergoing renovation. The building’s roof and terrace, as well as the kitchen and sanitary facilities, are being technically upgraded. The dining area will also feature a completely new interior design. Due to these renovation works, the Café-Restaurant Holbein’s is closed. A reopening of the restaurant with a new culinary concept is planned for next year. We kindly ask for your understanding. Our tip: During the renovation period, the Café at the Städel Museum and the nearby Café at the Liebieghaus remain open for visitors.
