Admission prices can be found here.
Tickets are available online and at the ticket counter.
Admission is free for members of the Städelverein and the Städelclub.
There is a lift at the main entrance of the Städel Museum (Schaumainkai 63) for visitors with limited mobility and visitors with prams or pushchairs.
All floors of the Städel Museum are accessible via a lift, which has wide doors and low controls for wheelchair users. One toilet on the first floor (1. OG) and one in the basement of the exhibition building (UG) is barrier-free. There are sufficient seating possibilities on all floors and in the exhibition rooms. A wheelchair or wheeled walker can be borrowed from the cloakroom.
For safety reasons, we reserve the right to regulate access to the exhibition galleries with prams/pushchairs if necessary (e.g., in cases of high visitor volume). The museum offers space for parking prams/pushchairs.
Visitors with a degree of disability of 50% or more are entitled to a reduced admission fee. If a “B” has been entered in the disability pass, admission is free for one accompanying person. In this case, please request tickets for guided tours via the contact form.
Public disabled parking spaces can be found on Holbeinstraße at the corner of Schaumainkai.
All further information as well as detailed test reports on accessibility in the Städel Museum can be found here.
