  • 7th form and over, with teacher: €3 per person
  • Group of students with lecturer: €3 euros per person
  • Note Groups are required to register their visit in advance.

What do I need to know if I want to visit the Städel Museum with a group?

Groups are required to register their visit in advance:

Groups (minimum 10 persons) are entitled to a reduced fee.

Can I pay in advance for the group event I have booked?

Please do not pay in advance by bank transfer. Depending on which offer you have booked, payment will be made on site at the museum ticket counter or by invoice after the event. Please refer to your booking confirmation for payment details.

How do I get the tickets for the tour I have booked?

Tickets are included with your reservation. You will receive your tickets at the museum ticket counter on the day of the event.

Can I pick up the tickets for my group in advance at the ticket counter?

Tickets can be collected from the museum ticket counter from 10 am on the day of the event. Earlier collection is not possible.

Can I discuss the topic with the guides in advance?

Please provide us with the details of your group, your preferred topic, and any other relevant information on the enquiry form provided. We will pass this information on to the guides.

How long does a group tour or workshop last?

A tour or workshop usually lasts 60 minutes. Longer sessions are also possible in most areas of the museum. We will be happy to advise you.

Do I need to buy the tickets in advance?

No. Your reservation already includes all the necessary tickets. Upon presentation of your booking confirmation, you will receive your tickets at the museum ticket counter on the day of the event. There is no need to purchase tickets separately.
