Visitors with special entitlement can reserve a time slot for their visit in the online shop and will receive their ticket at the ticket counter in the museum upon presentation of their proof of entitlement. Please have your reservation, proof of entitlement, and a valid photo ID ready to show upon request.

Admission is free for members of the Städelverein. Prior reservation of the visit is not required.
Holders of proof of reduced or free admission not included in the list will receive a ticket for immediate admission at the ticket counter after verification by presenting valid proof or authorisation and a photo ID.
Holders of the Frankfurt-Pass or Kulturpass will also receive a ticket for immediate admission at the ticket counter after verification by presenting valid proof or authorisation and a photo ID.
Flex Tickets for major special exhibitions with international loans are offered exclusively in the online shop. Flex Tickets can be used flexibly and without reserving a time slot for a one-off visit to the Städel Museum. They are valid for the entire duration of the special exhibition. The tickets are also valid for the Städel Collection and all other special exhibitions on the day of the visit.
Gift certificates for 20, 30, and 50 euros are available in the Städel Museum at the ticket counter and in the museum shop. At the Liebieghaus Skulpturensammlung, they can be purchased at the ticket counter, in the café, and in the Liebieghaus online shop. Gift certificates can be redeemed for a visit to the Städel Museum and the Liebieghaus Skulpturensammlung. In addition, they can also be used for purchases in the museum shops of the Städel Museum and the Liebieghaus, in the Liebieghaus online shop, and in the Liebieghaus café. Gift certificates are not redeemable in the Städel online shop.
Gift certificates are valid for three years from the date of issue unless otherwise indicated on the certificate/voucher (regular limitation period according to § 195 BGB).
The MuseumsuferCard is valid for visits to the permanent collection, as well as to temporary special exhibitions from the museum’s own holdings. You can visit the current special exhibition “Michael Müller: The Given Day. Castor & Polydeuces” (10/14/2022–4/23/2023), as well as all of the museum’s collection areas: Old Masters, Modern Art, Contemporary Art, Prints and Drawings, and Photography. Preferential admission and special events are not included in this offer.
Major special exhibitions with international loans are excluded from this offer. Currently, this applies to the exhibition “GUIDO RENI. The Divine” (11/23/2022–3/5/2023). For this exhibition, you can purchase a regular online ticket in our online shop.
