School pupils, students, vocational trainees, unemployed persons and visitors with a 50-per-cent or higher degree of disability are eligible for the reduced fee.
Please be advised that family tickets and reduced-fee tickets can be purchased only at the Städel Museum cashier’s desk. Valid identification is required.
Admission is free for children under the age of 12.
The family ticket is valid for two adults and at least one child (own children and grandchildren under the age of 18).
Families wishing to reserve tickets online can purchase two online tickets prior to their visit and will then receive free passes for their own children or grandchildren at the entrance.
The members of groups (minimum group size: 10) are eligible for the reduced fee.

Day-care groups and school classes: admission free to 6th form
7th form and over, with teacher: 3 euros per person
Group of Students with lecturer: 3 euros per person
Groups are required to make previous arrangements for their visit.
Gift certificates are available for purchase at the museum cashier’s desk. Gift certificates are valid for a visit to the Städel Museum, the Liebieghaus Skulpturensammlung, the café at the Städel and the Café im Liebieghaus and the Liebieghaus online shop. Gift certificates are valid for three years from the date of issue unless otherwise indicated on the certificate/voucher (regular limitation period according to § 195 BGB).
Avoid the long queues for admission to the museum.
The Museum Embankment Card and Museum Embankment Ticket entitle their holders to free admission to all participating Frankfurt museums. Priority admission is not covered by the offer and unfortunately also not possible during special exhibitions. Owners of an ICOM-Card receive free admission and can receive a free pass at the group cash register.
